Introduction
Yes, welcome! Please come in! The water and the bread are fine.
The Appalachian Irishman takes pen in hand, to welcome new followers and a subscriber. Recent emails indicate four new followers, a subscriber, and a recommendation of this website. I also encourage these new kindred spirits and everyone, to subscribe freely to my original website.
Don't worry. The Appalachian Irishman is not an Irish pub! The conclusion offers free water and bread to all who are hungry.
Welcome to New Followers & Subscriber
This Christian and southern gentleman must welcome the new Substack followers and subscriber by name and website (if he or she has one). I have browsed each website, and I may comment on certain articles.
On Saturday, 4/6/2024, Jason A. Clark followed me. His Substack website is This is the Day: Inspired by History - Christian Devotionals! Jason A. Clark's noble purpose is to “[d]iscover fresh perspectives on faith as each entry focuses on a historical event that occurred on this day in history, seamlessly blending theological insights with real-world context.” His website is active. A new article is published daily. A paid subscription is not required. Brother Clark, may your daily devotionals comfort and inspire Christians and bring many to Christ!
On Sunday, 4/7/2024, an individual known on Substack as “glenne” followed me, by recommendation of Jim McCraigh. Glenne hasn’t published any articles yet but states, “Faith, family, freedom are most important to me.” Amen, Glenne! May your circle of influence increase!
On Tuesday, 4/9/2024, Guy Boulianne followed me, by recommendation of Jim McCraigh. His Substack platform, in French, is Le Substack de Guy Boulianne. My web browser translates French to English as The Substack of Guy Boulianne. In English translation, the “about” section indicates that Guy Boulianne is an author and publisher from Quebec, Canada. His “official website” is Guy Boulianne: author, publisher and freelance journalist. The “about” sections, on his Substack and official platforms, denote his gifted career paths.
Earlier today, emails informed me that Guy Boulianne subscribed to and recommended my Substack platform here. Thank you, sir! Best wishes to you, as you expand your influence, for the good of His kingdom.
On Saturday, 4/13/2024, Stephanie Hart followed me, by recommendation of Jim McCraigh. (Thanks, brother McCraigh, for recommending this website!) Stephanie Hart hasn’t published any articles yet but states that she is a Christian conservative. Sister Hart, may the Good Lord use you well, in His service!
Invitation to Appalachian Irishman
The most recent article, on this platform, was on 11/22/2023. In it, I indexed twelve articles, on my original website, from 9/24/2023 to 11/19/2023. American Faith & Freedom, published by Jim McCraigh, had inspired that article. Thanks again, brother Jim!
On my original website, the “Website Archive” section shows 23 articles that I've published, since my most recent article here. Four articles were published last December. This year, I published seven articles in January, four in February, three in March, and five so far this month, on a variety of topics. The original website includes 20 “Topic Sections.”
The header on my original website states, in part, “The public journal and commentary, by M. Fearghail, started on 3/6/2006. As a Christian, I affirm the biblical worldview and the good in Appalachian-Irish heritage.” As of this entry, the original website includes 465 articles and 248 comments. All time views are over 268,000. In the last 30 days, analytics show over 2,800 views, from over 20 different nations.
This article suggests that the new kindred spirits and everyone subscribe freely to my original website. The “Free Email Subscription” section simply requires your email address.
Conclusion
I am a former thirsty and hungry beggar, who found the Living Water and the Bread of Life. Jesus stated, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty" (John 6:35, NIV). I am trying to freely share the Living Water and the Bread of Life that I have found.
Yes, welcome! Please come in! The water and the bread are fine.
