“WORLDVIEWS in CONFLICT” on "APPALACHIAN IRISHMAN" (published 7-4-2022; SubStack article #19)
Introduction
Happy “Julyth,” y'all! This is the Appalachian Irishman signing in on SubStack again. My 7/3/2022 article -- “7-4-2022: 'JULYTH' OR INDEPENDENCE DAY? (published 7-3-2022; article #338)” – will explain my use of “Julyth” – with deeper comments on “liberty and justice for all.”
My most recent SubStack article was on 3/21/2022, when I referenced my seven Appalachian Irishman articles of 3/20/2022 (articles #303 to #309). Since that visit here, I have published twenty-nine additional articles (#310 to #338). Y'all are welcome to “stop by to read a while.”
Today -- 7/4/2022, Independence Day – I publish my nineteenth article on SubStack. This article brings to SubStack my three ”Articles on Worldviews in Conflict.” I plan, Lord willing, to write additional articles, on this profound topic.
Worldviews in Conflict: Article One
My first article, published on 6/7/2022, is “BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW - BOOK RECOMMENDATION by BARNA: 'American Worldview Inventory 2021-22: The Annual Report on the State of Worldview in the United States' (published 6-7-2022; article #332).”
That article is one of many voices, crying in the wilderness. I warn about the many wrong worldview paths – which even many, who profess Christianity, follow -- and encourage the straight and narrow, biblical, worldview path.
Worldviews in Conflict: Article Two
My next article, published on 6/26/2022, is “BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW: 1st CENTURY, 21st CENTURY, 6-24-2022 PRO-LIFE VICTORY (published 6-26-2022; article #336).”
That article focuses on the first century worldview, the twenty-first century worldview, and the biblical worldview. The conclusion encourages the world – with emphasis on this once great nation – to return, in repentance, to the biblical worldview.
Do not overlook the 6/24/2022 article, which I quoted, by a known sister in Christ! Her article is personal and profound.
Worldviews in Conflict: Article Three
My third article, published on 6/30/2022, is “WORLDVIEWS in CONFLICT: PRO-LIFE ARGUMENT WON EASILY (published 6-30-2022; article #337).”
That article affirms successfully the pro-life argument, in the context of the 6/24/2022 Supreme Court decision. In loving kindness, I defeat those who affirm their immoral desire to murder unborn children (i.e., the “pro-choice” position). The “pro-choice” versus pro-life debate is one example, of many, of worldviews in conflict.
Conclusion
I took the above photograph on Thursday, 10/28/2010. It was my 72nd hike on House Mountain. I was at the middle bluff, looking northwest. That hike was the first, in my article on “Four Hikes in Four Days!” – about which I wrote on 11/14/2010.
Will you rise, as you read, to pledge with me?
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Sadly, this nation is falling, not standing. If this nation were as one, under God, then there would be “liberty and justice for all.” We need to STAND, in unity, on the moral foundation that our founding fathers created (despite their imperfections). The moral foundation of this nation is based on the biblical worldview.
Happy Independence Day, y'all! Celebrate, for the right reason! Eat a hamburger or hot dog if you want to!
