Greetings. I am M. Fearghail, the Appalachian Irishman. Thanks for dropping by. My original public journal and commentary started on 3/6/2006. I was born (in 1960) and raised in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, in northeast Tennessee. I'm of hearty Irish stock. I was raised under the godly influence of my mother and the independent, fiery temperament of my father. I'm an educated country boy, with international experience. My formal education includes: A.S. in management, B.S. in religious ministry, and course completion for an M.A. in missiology. I have educated myself further, in several fields. Mrs. Appalachian Irishman and I were missionaries in Russia for five years (1994 - 1999). She's a good wife, who puts up with me. We live in northeast Tennessee. Read my articles and watch my podcasts, to dig deeper! You are invited to subscribe, freely, to my articles, contact me, and comment. I'm just one poor beggar, trying to help other poor beggars find the Bread of Life.

Note: I added this website on 12/23/2021. Here, I reference or duplicate some of my articles, since 12/23/2021. The complete volume of my articles (over 400), is on my main website.

My original website, in the right column, has “Topic Sections” and “Website Archive.” Since 10/2/2022, I have been encouraging Substack to add “Topic Sections” and to set up “Archive” by year and month – to mirror what my original website has had since 3/6/2006. If Substack will improve its platform in that manner, I may continue to publish articles here.

You are welcome to subscribe, here, to receive emails, if and when I publish another article here. I encourage you, however, to subscribe to my original website – under “Free Email Subscription.” (Your name and email address are confidential, unknown even to me.) There, you will be current, on every article that I publish.
